Your first time with us

Our classes are designed for people of all levels and backgrounds, so don't worry if you're new to aerial sports or gymnastics. You don't need any experience to start!

When can I join Beginner classes?

To start, you can join Beginner 1 classes. When you complete Beginner 1, you move on to Beginner 2 and higher. This doesn't apply to Stretching and Aerial Yoga. You can join them anytime.

If you don't see Beginner 1 classes in our schedule, you can send us a message. If there is enough interest we will add one. If not, you can join All Levels classes to catch up and join the group. Just make sure you pick classes where a teacher for your discipline is teaching.

How do I prepare and get there?
Everyone at our studio wants you to have a great first experience, that's exactly why we've put together a few tips to help you get ready:

  • Eat something light 1 hour before class and drink a coffee, tea, or something to help boost your energy levels.

  • Come 10-15 minutes earlier to meet your teacher and fellow aerialists.

  • Wear something comfortable that allows you to move freely.

    • Shorts are more suitable for Pole Flow while long leggings are more appropriate for Aerial Hammock, Silk, Yoga, and Stretching.

    • We usually do everything barefoot, but if it's winter, bring warm socks.

    • If it's summer, bring a small towel with you, it can get pretty warm.

    • Don't wear any rings or bracelets on your hands and wrists. They can cause injuries and damage the apparatuses.

  • You can bring your own yoga mat, but if you need one we have plenty at our studios.

  • Bring a bottle of water, it's important to stay hydrated.

What can I expect from your classes?

Here’s what the structure of our classes looks like:

  1. Some of our classes begin with a 3-minute meditation. It helps ground us, let go of what happened during the day, and be more present.

  2. All classes start with a fun 10-15 minute warm-up routine. Getting the blood flowing and the body ready for what we do is important.

  3. Once we're warm enough, we do some conditioning exercises (stuff like pull-ups, lifting the knees, etc.).

  4. We’ll then learn and practice some amazing moves and poses together.

  5. Right before the end of the class, we have the last song moment in which you have about 5 minutes to practice anything you want. You can even choose the song 😁.

  6. At the end of the class, we'll slow down with a stretching (cooling down) routine to prevent injuries and muscle soreness.

Our team is always here for you and just in case you haven’t decided yet, here’s all the information you need on Aerial HammockAerial Silk, Aerial Yoga, Pole Flow, and Stretching.

Can’t wait to see you in class!
